REVIEW: Yuchoo Steam Hair Pack

yikes... so.... I haven't been on here since 2017 ( wHICH IS 2 YEARS AGO wtheck ). This is insane. Anyway, I have decided to pop back onto my blog because I wanted to share with you guys my experience using the Yuchoo Steam Hair Pack.

Those of you following me on Instagram ( @vanessaeex ) would be aware of a recent post I had uploaded regarding the hair pack. Full disclosure: when I had posted my review then, I had only tried it once. So I thought I'd share my full experience using all the hair packs Waseyo had so kindly gifted me. I was also given advice from Waseyo to use the hair packs every other day due to my hair condition.

Before I share the results ( how my hair looks + feels now ), I just want to show the individual packaging bc I think they're kinda cute hehe

How cute is the hair pack right !!! It looks like a cloud on your head lel and below is an actual image of me when using the hair pack ( an actual treat bc I rarely post unglams on ig )

Basically, the steam hair pack is to help condition your hair, giving you smooth hair ( dUh ?? ). The product is in the cloud and all you have to do is put it over your head and secure it with the adhesive that is already on the cloud.

Well, I'm not gna lie.. it was actually quite confusing and difficult to put it on my head the first time around bc I didn't have no step-by-step instructions to help this bimbo. But after the first time, I knew how to navigate my way around and it rly does get easier.

After the cloud is secured and fits your head snugly, you'd have to massage the product into your hair, ensuring you get it all over your hair - every crack and crevice lel. Instructions were provided as to how to use the hair pack, and on it states that you would feel heat?? I'll just leave the instructions below bc I ain't good w words lol. At first I was so shooketh bc like what.. where is the heat from.. what if it burns me LOLOLOL sorry I'm a bimbo ok. But after using it for the first time, it rly felt like a pamper session at the salon where they steam your hair.

As seen above, you've to rinse your hair after the treatment so please make sure you wash your hair thoroughly bc you don't want to leave any products on your scalp!! Upon washing, you will realise that your hair so freakin soft and I deadass was so excited HAHAHA

and now, for the big reveal, drumroll please...

Yeah... It's pretty anticlimactic. Also, I don't even look cute from the back what is this..
Okay, yes, the difference is not visible, I will admit. But when you touch my hair, you would be able to feel the difference. My hair does feel a tad softer.

BuT tHeN aGaIn... I have gone to salons for hair treatments where they put hair masks and steam my hair, and even those don't rly work for me. My hair would feel so so soft, similar to my healthy, unbleached days until I wash my hair. And afterwards, my hair would go back to its damaged stage.

So I guess maybe the hair pack would work for those of you who have not bleached + dyed your hair as often as I have.

MY VERDICT:
The Yuchoo Steam Hair Pack DOES work, but not amazingly for me.
