Hey guys!! I'm back
As you can probably guess from my title, this blog post will be about my 16th birthday.

No there wasn't a surprise party. Neither was there a grand birthday.
But it didn't matter.

As my birthday was nearing, I read about how the other bloggers my age were maturing;
understanding that birthdays aren't really celebrating you, but instead are celebrating the people in your life;
understanding the importance of trust.

Then I asked myself if those applied to me...

...and the answer was no.

I still wanted presents,
I still wanted people to send me birthday wishes,
I still wanted to feel special.

However, on my birthday,
presents, birthday wishes, being special, didn't really matter to me.

What mattered most to me were my family and friends.

Okay, I know this sounds super cheesy,
BUT IT'S TRUE!!

Yes, there were people who wished me happy birthday.
Yes, there were people who gave me presents.

But I kind of appreciated my family and friends even more.
Not because they gave me presents,
but because without them, I wouldn't be who I am today.
(lol cheesy bit again)

Anyway, on my birthday, I had to go to school for a learning journey.
And that's pretty unfortunate..

I had to report to school at 11.30 in the morning (yay!!)
but the learning journey ended at around 4 in the afternoon (not so yay!!)

Since I had to report to school at 11.30am, I met up with my friend to have "breakfast".
Well the meal wasn't early enough to be called breakfast,
neither was it late enough to be called brunch nor lunch..

Both of us couldn't decide where we wanted to go to have our meal,
and hence we settled for Starbucks (basic white girl)

I didn't take any pictures bc my friend really doesn't like it when we take picture of our food

Anyway, after our meal we headed for school.
And guess what?
We were late and we had to rush.

We reached school,
got on the bus,
went for our learning journey,
learning journey ended,
came back to school,
blah blah blah.

The learning journey wasn't very exciting so...

However, I will show you some pictures to sum it all up.

This is like so cute!!

It's a uniphant (half unicorn, half elephant!!)

After the learning journey, I was just exhausted ☹.
I just wanted to go home and sleep on my bed

So, my parents brought me out for dinner at Brewerkz and let me just tell you that the food there is really good!
(And so is the price! lmao)
I'm definitely recommending everyone to go try!

WHAT I WORE:

Again, I didn't take any pictures of the good food.
But this time, it was bc the lighting was really bad and everything just turned out dark in the pictures ☹

Also, here's a picture of what my friends got me

I definitely want to thank everyone who made my 16th birthday special.
(even though nothing much happened)
Your presence in my life is enough
I am also definitely much more appreciative of the people I have in my life.

Also, school has been really busy and I'm sad
