We’ve already come to the last day of 2015 and time had seemingly passed by so quickly. 2015 had been okay, it definitely wasn’t that great of a year. 2015 was the year I had taken my ‘O’ Level Examinations; 2015 was the year filled with stress.
There are people who have entered, as well as exited my life. And for that, I am grateful. Yes, it is disheartening that you’ll lose friends along the way. However, I believe that when one door closes, another door opens. This might be the end of a chapter, but this also means that it's the beginning of another.
I am thankful for the new friends I have made and definitely thankful for the old ones I’ve kept. (haha you bitches know who you are)
I am definitely appreciative of my family. My parents were there to guide and encourage me during times of crisis (AKA my studies hahaha). No words can describe the gratitude I have towards such great parents.
I am also truly grateful for the great teachers I’ve had. I honestly have never felt so loved and cared for by teachers until 2015, when I had the best teachers I could ever ask for. These teachers taught from their hearts, and you know that only the best teachers do. They had never once given up on me (and my friends) and I would go on and on about how great they are. But let’s keep that story for another day.
I will always cherish the experiences I’ve had and the adventures I’ve been on this year. Because through these times were when I had learned more about myself, and about life.
For example, when you cycle for a whole day your butt is gonna hurt for like 2 days. (HAHAHA Coney Island)
And, when you wear slippers out, you’re gonna get blisters. (USS)
And with that, comes the last few seconds of 2015.
I hope that 2016 would bring much more joy to the people around me, and myself, as well as you.
Here’s to a great 2015, and cheers to a greater 2016.
